I am a professional bass player on double bass and electric bass as well as a teacher with over 17 years experience based in Nottingham in the UK .
I work freelance in many different styles from classical and jazz, big band, musical theatre,salsa to rock and pop and just about everything else in between.
I have performed in many different environments such as theatres, cruise ships, recording studios, jazz gigs, residencies as well as touring with shows both at home and abroad.
As well as playing bass I also teach the instrument in Nottingham at local colleges and privately from my studio annexe at home, lovingly known as 'The Bass Studio'.
I find that my extensive professional experience and versatility is definitely an asset in giving students the necessary information to improve their playing as quickly and efficiently as possible and have fun at the same time.
