Over the years I've played in many places and in many situations which require diverse skills including sight-reading,improvisation,the ability to play any style of music that is required.
Other assets I have albeit non-musical but equally important in order to maintain a long-term successful career are organisation and business skills,willingness to travel,ability to work with other people (who are strangers more often than not) and the ability to show up to the gig on time.
